"नीयत थोड़ी सी खराब हो जाये..."

ऐ! खुदा मेरे इश्क में अब तो कुछ इन्कलाब हो जाये,
उनके दिल में भी मेरे लिए मोह्हब्बत बेहिसाब हो जाये.
हर एक सवाल से कर जुदा उनको बना दे एक सवाल मेरे लिए,
या फिर मेरी जिंदगी उनके हर सवाल का आखिरी जवाब हो जाये.
काँटे सारे निकल कर राहो से उनकी आ जाये पाबस्ता मेरी हथेली पर,
और मेरी राहो का हर तिनका बस उनके लिए सुर्ख लाल गुलाब हो जाये.
अगर मैं लिखू खुद को चाहत की स्याही से मोह्हब्बत के नाजुक से पन्नो पर,
कोई एक तारा टूटे कहीं पर और वो पन्ने उनकी सबसे पसंदीदा किताब हो जाये.
इस तरह टूट कर चाहना किसी एक-तरफ़ा जिंदगी के लिए अच्छा नहीं मंगल,
गर हो सके तो इस दफा खुदा मेरे लिए उनकी भी नीयत थोड़ी सी खराब हो जाये...
